As part of our clinic, we are offering a FREE service for our patients called Te Tumu Wairoa (TTW) which in te reo means ‘to head towards wellness’. As part of the service we are lucky to have two additional members of our practice team, a Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) Rebecca Shipton-Ashwell and a Health Coach Stacey Rowe.

Our TTW team can support you or your whānau/family member with things like managing stress, low mood, sleep issues, anxiety, relationship difficulties, learning to manage long term conditions like diabetes , or help to make general lifestyle changes such as reducing alcohol or smoking, weight loss, good nutrition, or tips for increasing fitness.

Our HIP and Health Coach can also help you with other issues that might be affecting your wellbeing like budgeting or housing by connecting you with the right social agency or non-profit organisation for assistance.

We put mental health and wellbeing at the heart of what we do at our practice and trust you will benefit from this free service.

Appointments with Stacey or Rebecca are free for patients enrolled with our practice and can often be on the same day you call. Please just ask your doctor or nurse, or talk to reception, if you would like an appointment and they will arrange this for you.
