Dr Zoe Douglass

Zoe Douglass - General Practitioner

Zoe qualified as a doctor from the University of Southampton in the UK in 1999 and has been a General Practitioner for 20 years, 15 spent as a Partner in a rural practice in East Sussex, UK.

With an interest in all areas of community health, Zoe has a particular interest in Women’s Health and is studying for a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine.

She is married to Dougal, an airline pilot and they have two sons; Toby and Kip.  They also have a ‘gentlemanly’ ginger cat called Tim, who is under strict instructions not to eat the local bird life.

Zoe and Dougal are keen outdoor enthusiasts and have participated in Triathlons and adventure racing together in the UK – they’re still working on the children!

Zoe is also a passionate (if not overly talented!) musician who is also hoping to find an outlet for her creative side whilst living on the island.

Zoe and her family are delighted to have to opportunity to live and work on Waiheke Island and to become an integrated part of such a vibrant community.
