Nurse Practitioner
Erica worked for many years as a Specialist Community Nurse before completing a clinical master’s degree and qualifying as a Nurse Practitioner in 2019. As a Nurse Practitioner at Ostend Medical Centre, her focus is on a holistic health approach, particularly in providing care for patients with long term conditions, such as cardiac, respiratory health issues and diabetes. She has a strong interest in healthy aging and community care, and runs Ostend’s two community outreach clinics, for the Retirement Village and the WISH Trust.
In addition to working with patients daily, Erica serves as the Clinical Lead for the nurses across the Waiheke Health Trust, ensuring excellence for the Practice Nurses at the Medical Centre along with the Specialist Community Nurses and Well Child Tamariki Ora Nurses at Waiheke Health Trust.
Erica is a long-time Waiheke resident, with strong connections throughout our community.
